Hey heys. YES! It's that time of the year again. The mid-sem tests! Hurray! Not. I'm gonna start blabbing again~
How funny that time flies when you have having fun or not. *yes yes, i knw.....* With a blink of an eye, or two, weeks have gone past. All those lazing around, fun, joy and laughter was enjoyed. And its that time of the year to study!! Yah~

Well, went to get contacts yesterday. initially i wanted to go the shop that i usually go. but ling had to make a detour to T1 to see her hair wax. So happen that we saw a 'roadshow' for specs and contacts. So we went to take a look. There are some attractive promotions going on. We then proceed to the actual shop rather than the atrium. It turns out that even if they are from the same shop, but the workers there had no idea about the promotion etc. So we whet back down. So the sales girl came and we went back up. -.- ya i knw. so much for coming down right. So we waited like god knows how long just to get our eyes tested. wtf. So we got this fresh poly grad/uni freshie. It took her like 20 mins just to get my actual degree. But at least she was nice. So she was like "Do you blog?" Then i was like "ehhh.....no...." i lied. not like she is going to really knw this url and read my post right.... lols... she was just afraid that i am going to blog about her. lols. i am blogging about her now. Ling was totally frustrated. hahas. but seriously. that shop has really bad service. Just because we are not buying contacts from their shop dosen't mean they need not serve us. like wth?! seriously. but technically it is from their shop. confusing isn't it. i am. Ling was about to complain. muahahahs. oh well. at least we got our contacts. =) its been a long time since i used normal contacts.....i usually wear coloured if you dont know.=)

Boy boy is getting is balls cut~ i think its already removed. hope he is not to devastated. sigh. but i just dont get it. aren't dogs and cats the same? just that cat need lower maintenance than dogs. sigh. i just dont get.... Oh well. 99% that i am not keeping boy boy and having a dog instead.-.-

Okay. Hi everyone~ i know i have totally been neglecting this blog of mine. But fret not! Cause it shall be active again. i guess... =) So been working my ass off these months and earned quite a sum. hahas. saving for the Taiwan trip. =) So to start off my comeback, these are a few books that accompanied me on my way to work. =)
Tittle: Pride and Prejudice
Author: Jane Austen
Rating: 3.5/5
For Classic lovers, fans of literature and Jane Austin. Might be hard to absorb in the start and for those who just started reading. But over all, i find it hard to absorb and amusing. In other words, its too "chim" for me. Just being honest. =) Though there are some parts that are understandable, like how Lydia is such a bitch and how embarrassing it is to have a mum like Mrs Bennet.

Authors: Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith

Best read if you just finish reading Pride and Prejudice, uber hilarious and totally out of this world! One of my favourites thats for sure. Definitely a whole lot easier to understand than the original. Instead of keeping your composer as a lady, the Bennets are the best zombie killing machine around and Mr Bingley is such a wimp *duh~*. Shall not reveal too much. Don't want to be a spoiler now do we. =) Grab the book at the book stores. Though some bookstores have no idea where they kept them. *sigh*

One of my favourites!!!! If you are a fan of romance, action and mayhem-okay its not totally mayhemish type of book, but still...- Its uber cool. My type of book. =) I think its like the 2nd or 3rd book- there are actually a few that follows the story, kinda like twilight, minus the mystical creatures, love rivals, teen love and add in thiefs, sex, action, fences, etc. =)

Not sure if its the last book or not. But its definitely after Billionaires Prefer Blondes, or maybe after a book or two. Anyways~ its as exciting as the previous, plus some Japanese antiques collectors and a uber sweet ending. =) I knew Samantha Jellicoe and Richard Addison will always be together. *aww~* Like Sam, I can't stand a guy being overbearing, its just too much. But no words can describe the love they have for each other.

Erm... I am miss two books from this series, so people if you happen to be at any second hand book store please help me look for Flirting with Danger and Don't Look Down, both from the same author. Thanks. ^^

Its like twilight, minus the teen lovey dovey, and no, the girl did not fall for the vampire, its the werewolf. *Team Jacob!* =) Uber cool, sets in France, a bit of french in the book, just the dialogues. I think you are able to pick it up in the school library, tp library that is. *i miss school. >.<*

I am looking for Bride of the Wind, by the same author. I really, really, really want this book. Looked everywhere for it. Even book suppliers don't carry it anymore. Sooooo.... heehee. If you happen to see the book, other then the school library, please call me, text me kays. ^^

We are receiving our top 50% grades this week. So far i am satisfied with my grades. i passed them all. but i am hoping that i would do better for my overall grades. celebrated jayden's birthday in his school on mon. had a great deal of fun. the pinata too. in the end the teacher had to rip it to half as it was too hard for them to break with a 1.5cm diameter pvc. sigh. but those faces that the kids made were priceless. glad that they had fun.
going for stats lecture tomorrow since i had missed it on mon. its going to be a rather short day tomorrow. gonna pay my fullest attention during lecture.

Here's the full story of what had happened today:
1) went to Popeyes with ami. sat between old ladies and young ladies. my bag near the old ladies.
2) left our bags on the seat, me taking only my pouch-containing my phone & money-
3) went to buy food. ami went off first.
4) ami came back saying my bag went missing.
5) thought she was joking i stayed there- still in the queue-
6) went back, realise its really missing.
7) report to the manager of Popeye.
8) remained clam, finished my lunch.
9) talk to the manager- a blind spot was discovered, guess where? its our area. wtf-
10) Century Sq called my hp.
11) My bag was found in the gents.
12) went to collect. discovered my ipod went missing.
13) left. checked my card holder. Ez link card went missing.
14) went to bus interchange to report.
15) went home to call the library. now i cant borrow books with my new ez link card.
16) feeling rather indifferent now.

So this are the few plots we thought of what had actually happened:
Plot 1: Blur old ladies.
The old ladies left in a hurry, then blur blur take my file.
then discover they took my file by mistake, threw it away.
Some guy decided to be thrifty took my file and went to the gents.
Saw how wonderful my ipod is decided to take it.
Then opened my card holder.
saw how pretty and gorgeous my Ez link card is decided to take it too. so he will always remember how generous i was.

Plot 2: Beware of Old Ladies...
Old ladies heard that nothing was precious in my file, discovered my reverse psychology.
So decided to take my file. Went to the ladies to see if anything is precious inside.
Saw my beloved ipod and decided to take it. then saw how beautiful my picture is, debated whether to take my matric card or my ezlink card. Then remembering that Ez link card is sure to contain money, took the ez link card. Then on their way out, they toss my file into the gents.

Plot 3: Beware of stalker-if any-
Some person decided to be my #1 Fan, wanted everything i got.
followed me to popeyes. waiting for the correct timing to take my stuff.
Conspire with the old ladies to pass my file to him/her. Then took my precious ipod.
Always wanted a photo of me, the person took my ez link card. Went to the restroom to pee. thought of how pitiful i would be going home with only a pouch, purposely left my file there hope someone would find it.

i got head phones for Xmas. ^^

heys~ yes! i am back people! miss me? hahas. i'm sure you did. and yes i came home alone. granny had to come back a week later cause she had an appointment with the doctor. plus she would be on metro tv! hahas. cause the sensei is kinda popular and he is uber proud that a singaporean came to see him. as all the indonesian went to singapore to see the doctors at Mount E. she was reluctant to stay cause she is afraid of pain and to be on tv. but when the doctor said that she would have the treatment for free. she agreed. XD
i have a celebrity granny~ hahahas. imagine, my gran on tv. XD lols.
went out with bel and stacey today~ hahas. bought my shoes~ like finally. then bel went for a shopping spree. goodness. too much money to spend. hahas. stacey said she did not want to get married. ipod hanged. not literately. but hang as in pc hang hang. its the second time. and i am really starting to wonder is it because of the anyvideoconverter thats been torturing it. T.T
I had wait for ipod to turn off as its in full batt... not like the other time, its low on batt....so now i had to wait for....24 hours?
well i did not really take note of the hours i had use. its mostly charged on a week or two basis?
so does it means that i have to wait for a week. maybe not. i think a day or two before it's batt falt.
it happened once i plug it into the pc. T.T
Geez... though i am not as pissed as the previous time. but still....

anyways. the mid term test is next week. i think its been the same situation to most of us here. in school we kept thinking of what to studying at home, what should i start studying and the best had yet to come, I WILL CONFIRM PLUS GUARANTEE CHOP THAT I WILL STUDY AT HOME!!!
but its all the same, once we face the tv or pc, all the motivation has died down and before you know it, 4 hours had passed and you did not do anything, even if its tomorrows tutorial. sigh. geez. there's no self discipline in me. you rarely find this happening to me. not really. but its the mid sem test for goodness sake. i mean won't i not want to retake. touch wood. really. lols. its seems to me that this section of this post is to scold myself. thats why... i twitted that its all words and no action. and my resolution is to put more words into action. geez. i really need to be pushed. not pushed around pushed. but push me to study push. i bet most students may look indifferent during lessons time, and boast that they didn't even study at home. but they ended up mugging at home without anyone knowing. bastards. study then study la. why hide such a fact that you are a hardworking student...tsk...

i really am making no sense here. and yes. blogging is just an excuse for me to not bother about the BA book that i have been using as a wrist cushion. okay i really have to shut down the pc or i never will be able to concentrate.

Objective: Shock her so much that she can't recover. And love them for life.
Location: Flavours, Temasek Polytechnic.
Agents: Hui Bing, Amirah, Zi Xi, Sam, Yu Xiu, Jane and the Guys.
Details: Jolyn eating Fish and Chips at flavours with Amirah, Hui Bing, Yi wen, Huang Meng and Nadirah. Hui Bing finds an excuse to leave the scene. Jolyn nearly ruin the plan by wanting to follow her. But thankfully she didn't. So Hui Bing took that chance and left the scene to meet up with the gang to get the cake. Then Tada! The cake is suddenly right in front of Jolyn. She gave them the uber shocked face. Then sang the mission song to her. Made her cry and uber touched.

MISSION COMPLETE!

Mission: Give Jolyn another surprise.(though it is thought on the spot)
Objective: Shock her again.

Agent: Zi Heng
Details: Preparing for the role play performance. When its turn for performance, act blur. Then when close to the end. Shock Jolyn by telling the class to sing the mission song. Explain to Class that its Jolyn's birthday. Sing along with class.

Details: While the unsuspecting Jolyn is busily playing the PC, go out to buy cake and present aka cookies. Go back home base and pretend nothing is wrong. When everyone is settled down. Charge into Jolyn's room and surprise her. Eat the cake and give the presents.

Went for korean hip hop today!! My very first session!!! its uber fun and i made friends!!! okay more like friend, but you get what i mean. Made ribbons today~ its been some time since i stop business.
so i managed to get some materials when i went out with mel last friday. and put them into good use. dad says that i can't do business. or so. i translated what every they said. but you know parents always expect the best from their kid. so they are' like find other resources, don't waste time making them, etc etc.' But you know i was like 'i am doing it as an interest not the money.'
but i think they are right. i have yet to make any profits from the ribbon business. and i kept adding on to the expenses or assets as the BA term calls it. geez...
i miss school. at least there is something to do everyday.
and yes. when the school term starts, we all will be wishing that the holidays will start soon. how complicated the human minds work. fickle. indecisive. sigh.

first was my handphone. i have no idea why but he-i just decided on its gender- left me when i need him the most!- translation, i left him at home, and only to realise that i forgotten about him on the sofa when i need to make a call...- Then when eating Fish and Co. i wanted to take pictures of the food to show my dad-cause he is not there- my camera has no battery. -.-

hey heys~ went out with the stoning gang to give a special surprise to early birthday boys benji and Wally. hahas... is uber funny when the birthday song played in pizza hut. hahas.. btw, the service at marina totally sucked. but the manager reasoned that its because they just transfered staff from 3 different outlet. well.. anyways the service is just damn sucky.
but lets not let that spoil our fun. so as usual, after celebrating, we went to the arcade. XD which is uber fun~ hahas. fun just never ends when you have such friends around~ sooo~~~ the guys(ant,ZH) decided to play lan as its the only way to keep ZH ard-go figure- so walked from city hall to bugis. so we girls have an hour to spare. so its just walking around the arcade, looking at people playing dota...shop shop...etc etc...

went MIA for the past two days~~~

hahas....realised that even though i am in Singapore. it seems that i am kinda cut out from the rest of the world. sort of like you went overseas that sort of feeling but the fact is that you are still in Singapore. So when met up with mum for lunch/breakfast at noon- i slept for like 12 hours, shows how tired i am- she started filling me with all the world news that i have been missing... lols...
erm... since everyone-stoning people with blogs- kinda typed what happen this past few days-minus the part where they cycled- i didn't cycle, went home on day 2 of chalet, stupid curfew- which is uber fun-from what i had read and uber tired. i dont think there's a need for me to repeat things from my point of view- basically everyone's point of view- so there's no need for me to blog about the chalet.

fret not. i did not forget that today is friday, the third day. well i am kind of surprised myself that the fact that i did not forget today is the third day.
finished the drama i wrote about yesterday. which is uber uber nice~ hahahas....
decided that there is nothing fun in cyberspace anymore. so decided to start reading. started confessions of a shopaholic today. wanted to start with P.S. I love you though. but the book is being pass around the family. so i would have to wait for my turn even if the book is mine. maybe will start rereading the entire twilight saga. or start a new vampire series.
as usual, or obviously, nothing fun happen today. other than the fact that i have a dozen buns stored in the refrigerator. to store for the winter i guess. not that i am hibernating. oh wait. there's never winter in Singapore. erm. store for the summer or raining season i guess. probably.
hmm... let me think of some interesting topic to talk about.
oh. found out that cyberspace is no longer interesting to me anymore. not entertaining, boring same old games, never something different. even facebook is boring. well, i guess nothing is interesting to one who have 2 months to spare. well, might be going over to Jakarta, since dad have been throwing tantrum at me for not wanting to go over. will be staying over for a week the most. wouldn't want to add up on their expenses i guess. since they have thrown the "lets move to middle east for a few years" plan. so i shall be station here for now. i just dont get it. if i have the opportunity i would be glad to pack up and move to some country to study. not that i dont like it here. its just that, a change in environment might be healthy for me. mentally that is. not that i have a problem. maybe staying at home for 2 months is not as healthy as i thought. well cant wait for next week to start. at least there's something to do.

was awaken by Boy George's Karma Chameleon....thought it was my aunt's boss or someone, hid the phone in the drawer.
turns out to be the hospital...

they called my dad instead...
and now, i am left alone at home,and my heart skipped a beat 10 mins ago...
why?
well, grandma left to the hospital with dad.
she found out that she had forgotten to put on her dentures.
so she called and asked me to pass it to her since she is at the door.
i ran out of the room and balanced the container to the door...
i opened the main door...
to find no one there....
i called out for her but no one replied....
so i panicked...
having an over imaginative mind...
i started to think of the supernatural...
and thats when my heart skipped a beat...
in the end grandma went to the wrong level and knocked at the wrong door...
gosh....
now i cant sleep....
reading twilight for the seventh time...

grandma just called..
she said that grandpa may not make it through the night...
hope the doctors can do their best to help him...
giving them the moral support from home....

tons of stuff happened between yesterday and today~

Yesterday
went to help lao shi with bel.
ended up as the jie jie who helps to keep your hands clean. =.=

but at least i managed to catch the entire show from head to toe~
then went to Geylang to eat supper with Liu lao shi and the rest of the people from Tea theatre.
on the way~

went to meet mum this morning to get my boots~

so this UBER KIND HEARTED MAN-with his daughter- helped us out..
(i think they are there to help his daughter for her science project...)
so he went to look for a plank of wood...
then we tried to knock the plane down..
but after a few attempts we gave up...
then the uncle walk away..
not long after...
he came back with the bamboo pole..
the sort that you hang your clothes one...
then the plane came down~~~~~~

just got my henna done at the flea market near my house~

i customized the one on my wrist~
its the international PEACE symbol!!
i always wanted a necklace with that symbol, large one, abt 5cm, sliver, long chain. *hint hint* XD
i think its due to moving my hands too much, thus cracks appear- the henna on my wrist-

Watched Knowing with my parents last night.

It's a sci-fi version of Noah's ark, instead of a flood its an apocalypse that destroyed the world. A thrilling movie with a touching ending, and i find the way they foresee the future using numbers are freaking cool. A good plot, though the ending is a tad cheesy . But its worth your time and money.

Watched Confessions of a shopaholic with ling, like finally. It really reflects how we have very poor money management-for some people-, since we are in recession now.
A heart-felt story about Rebecca Bloomwood( Isla Fisher) a journalist in a gardening magazine and her love to shop, till she receive a reality check and gets chased by debtors. Losing her job, Rebecca hopes to find a job at a fashion magazine(Alette) but ends up in Successful Savings- a magazine- with a pen name "The girl with the green scarf", meeting her hunky boss(Hugh Dancy)-and not to mention, fall in love~.
As the story goes on, she gone through a lot of mishap, counseling, friendship issues, debtor problem and a bitch.
A great movie with a great plot, but it seems as though the movie is rushing through the events too much that you might find it confusing at times.-You know, when you watch a movie, you might find that its kinda slow, but in this case, you find it a tad fast. Get what i mean?-
Never mind, go watch it yourself, its worth your every cent.

Managed to watch half of season one of Gossip Girl-to kill time- but time doesn't seem to be on my side. The entire day passed on slowly, really slowly. Like man! When ever you need to have more time, you tend to have less. And if you wanted time to go pass quickly, you see the second arrow taking its time ticking. It's killing me. For the very first time in my 17 years 4 months 22 days- i think- i get to try Foie gras.

NO. I'm serious. It is actually Goose liver- for those who don't know what it is, trust me i know- i forget to bring my camera along so try imagining it....

Its similar to the one i ate, just replace the rose mary and veges with cinnamon apples.

Love how it taste!

Well its the best among all the dishes we ordered(Foie Gras).

Though, their Cajun Chicken can't match up to the one at Botak Jones.

Went to watch Gran Torino with Cheryl, Marc, Wayne and GX yesterday. This film is actually named after its "star car"--a 1972 Ford Gran Torino--so I figured the titular vehicle must play a key role. Plus, I was intrigued by the unconventional choice for the automotive "lead."
Well the start of the movie was a tad slow. For people who enjoy action or thriller movies, the poster might be a tad misleading. When we asked what is the movie about, the lady said this,

"Its about him. *point to the poster* Him, the story is about him."

So we made the assumption that the movie was an action movie. Well part of it was due to the poster. So after the movie we realise that it is about him, which the story revolves around the car, the 1972 gran torino, and some Hmong people(immigrants from Southeast Asia).

There's the car. Ain't she a beauty?

An interesting plot i must say. Though there's too much of the F*** and some other words...

A dark humour, heart warming yet heart wrenching movie i must say. Love the plot but it's a little to slow for me.

an interesting book that caught my attention while i was browsing at the book store. its for the young and the young at heart. a story about a boy, Greg Heffley,-more like a day to day basis of what he did- writing in his diary,sorry, JOURNAL. its about school bullying, friendship, siblings and how misunderstanding adults could be at times. feel free to browse through the book when you are at the book store next time. it really brings you back to when you are in high school.

heys~ its been ages since i have last updated~ yup. hahas. well currently i am happily retiring at home, quit working-i think-, catching up those dramas i missed, reading twilight,again,-cause the damn online book seller couldn't get hold of the others-, trying my very best to update whatever social networking sites i have sign up whenever i could, realise that i have an entire shelf filled with 8 Days and another two with mangas-or more-, to think that i am going to add more novels to my collection.

lols, after listing out all the stuff i have done. it doesn't seem that much. rather, it made me realise that my life currently is pretty dull- other than hanging out with you guys- lately. really hope that school will start soon. at least it is better than staying at home...
